Adam Chudley is running again
Our removals estimator and salesman, Adam Chudley is back in training for another half marathon to raise money for the Piers Simon Appeals, School In a Bag project. In 2011 Adam ran the Bristol Half Marathon to raise money for a local charity, The Rosie Crane Trust. Completing the course in 2 hours 21 minutes Adam managed to raise over £450 for the trust. This time he has choosen to do the more local Taunton half marathon and has set himself some goals.
When asked about it Adam said “This is my fourth half marathon, and I think its probably going to be the hardest yet. I ran the Bristol half marathon just over a year with the goal of beating my best time and thought it would be my last. I didnt manage to beat the time though so loving a challenge I thought id give it one more try. My knees arent getting better with age and training in the winter is going to be a bit more of a challenge but hopefully I can raise some money for School In A Bag and that will only spur me on.”
Adam has set himself a target of raising £500 and finishing in a time under 2 hours 10 mins and we wish him luck.
